Throwdown Ep. 141 - Another Half-Step Console
Jul 14, 2017, 05:09 AM
Last week, we talked about Michael Pachter's prediction that the PlayStation 5 would be released in 2019. This story has popped up again on many sites. In particular, they are focusing on the part where he said Sony's next-gen system would be "another half-step" like the PlayStation 4 Pro. For our main topic, we discuss whether or not we have hit a ceiling in terms of console graphical power and if we'll ever see any significant evolutionary leaps in the future.
Other topics we discuss:
- Lorne Lanning calling Nintendo out
- Lawbreakers dev says Switch doesn't have enough buttons to support game
- Xbox at Gamescom 2017
- New Xbox One update add custom Gamerpics and more
- The 30th anniversary of Metal Gear
