Taking Stock: Volatile Friday! Sensex holds on to 38,000, Nifty slips below 11,200

Indian markets remained volatile on July 24 tracking muted trend seen in other Asian markets. The S&P BSE Sensex closed in the red but managed to hold on to 38000 while Nifty50 breached 11200 on a closing basis.
