Taking Stock: Over 4-month high! Sensex reclaims 38,000; Nifty back above 11,200

Tracking positive trends seen in global markets, benchmark indices close above their crucial psychological levels on July 23. The S&P BSE Sensex reclaimed 38000 while the Nifty50 is back above 11200 levels to hit a 4-month high.  

Let’s look at the final tally on D-Street – the S&P BSE Sensex rose 268 points to 38,140 while the Nifty50 rallied 82 points to close at 11,215.
