The Rant Pack
Episode 86, Jul 21, 2020, 08:24 AM
While Matt Kelly takes a much needed hiatus, Mike Graham is joined in the Thought Police think tank by his old pal Kevin O'Sullivan. If you were expecting sweetness and light, you've obviously forgotten what this podcast is all about. These two must have been waiting a while to get a few things off their chest as they launch into a furious rant about the last few months of lockdown including: the way the government has dealt with the coronavirus, shirkers not heading back to the office, why working from home isn't always good for you, the death of city business, ridiculous rules on Welsh buses, unfounded fears about things that probably won't happen, applauding particular bodies but not others, medical care in the US vs. the UK, not listening to the Bonking Boffin and why people can't be told what to do anymore.
They also discuss Matt Kelly and the ongoing success of the New European (miss you Matt!) despite Brexit going ahead, the notion of 'faith claimed terrorists', not being able to criticise the NHS (even though you should be able to), the seemingly unfathomable role of Public Health England, and why you should never trust an expert (or several). Stand by your (hospital) beds... the Thought Police are coming for you.
You can follow the boys on Twitter. Mike is: @IROMG, Kevin is @TVKev and you can find the podcast too: @ThoughtPoliceTP.
