Visually Impaired People Reliant On Digital Platforms During Lockdown.

With lockdown changing our world, and our independent mobility, blind and partially sighted people have been negatively impacted, more than most.

With support services no longer able to provide  full face to face contact, many are now turning to digital platforms, like Zoom, to maintain that all important social interaction.

RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Ryan McCartney, from Belfast, to find out how RNIB has helped him get to grips with new technology to stop the isolation of lockdown.
