East Carolina Wrestling: A Forgotten Dynasty

From 1967 to 1977, East Carolina Hall of Famer John Welborn led the Pirate wrestling program to a 94-14-3 mark--including five straight Southern Conference titles from 1972-77!
Unfortunately, coach was unable to join us as planned due to sickness (not COVID-19) BUT we were joined by one of his former wrestlers Mike Radford and East Carolina supporter Mike Bunting. Several other wrestlers chimed in via social media!
