Sight Village Event Goes Virtual.
Season 1, Episode 465, Jul 13, 2020, 09:00 AM
Sight Village is Europe's premiere, and largest, exhibition for blind and partially sighted people, allowing them to get hands on with the latest high and low tech.
It also offers lots of break out sessions, discussions and a chance to talk with national, and local, sight loss charities alongside service providers from across the UK and the globe.
This year, because of Covid-19, their events calendar has gone virtual.
There will be no exhibitions touring the UK but there will be a virtual event with a whole host of exhibitors and interactive sessions.
You can go online and immerse yourself on July 22nd and 23rd and there are opportunities to catch up if you can't log on during this time.
RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Lottie Reid, from Queen Alexandra College, to learn more about the virtual extravaganza and how you can log on.
