Have Your Say on Streets

Season 1, Episode 421,   Jun 04, 2020, 09:00 AM

With lockdown easing, at different stages, across the UK, sight loss charity RNIB is concerned about the reduction in the ability of blind and partially sighted people, to get around independently.
They have contacted local councils to discuss best practice when altering street layouts, for more socially distanced pedestrians and cyclists but need your help.
RNIB Connect Radio's Allan Russell spoke to Zoe Courtney, from RNIB's Campaigns Team, to learn how you can, with the help of the charity, create a letter to send to your local Councillor, which will highlight the safety concerns and give advice to create better public spaces.
