The "Go Home and Stay Home" Radio Club At Home

La Paz lockdown sound reimagined by Emmy Tither.
"I've been listening to a lot of, and all sorts of, radio these past few months. It's almost like the sound of other people coming through the radio waves makes up for not being able to be with people. Or something. It's gotten to the stage now, isolation-wise, where everything sounds like it comes from a radio to me now, even normal real-life sounds like a flushing toilet or birdsong or someone chatting on their phone outside. All sounds, now, are a weird mix of comforting and eerie to me, because they all sound like they come from so far away. Which is to say... from a safe distance. "
