Piece based on Knights of the grip tag by Richard Watts.
"I wanted to capture the loneliness and a sense of being on the road as a salesman in this piece. I've used a repeating beat like a train or bus journey. I've also used some treated guitar parts to try and show the loneliness. There is also a slight sinister nature to the name so the piece has of dark feeling."
Part of the Smithsonian Treasures project, a collection of new sound works inspired by items from the Smithsonian Museums’ collections - for more information, see http://www.citiesandmemory.com/smithsonian
