Sangli Guy and Director of Bamboo Research & Training Centre (BRTC), Chandrapur IFS "Rahul Patil" and his would be bride "Tejaswini Salunke from Karad" decided to donate Rs 1 lakh from their wedding funds to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, to strengthen the governments hands in the fight against corona. Forest officer Rahul Patil said 2nd May was supposed to be the day he got married but they postponed the marriage and decided they would make the occasion memorable. by donating money set aside for their wedding expenses to an urgent cause. This couple also distributed 700 litres of sanitiser and 7000 masks to the people on behalf of Swarajya Foundation, Satara, as well as Rs one lakh to the CM’s Relief Fund. Now, they are urging others to donate to the CM's relief fund too, saying the amount of the donation does not matter.
