Taking Stock: RBI booster shot help Nifty close above 9250; Sensex rallies 1000 pts

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) governor announced a slew of measures to cushion the economic pain in India which helped the Sensex and Nifty50 climb above crucial resistance levels towards the close of the session.

The Nifty50 closed above 9,250 levels while the S&P BSE Sensex rallied nearly 1000 points.
