Cigarettes and lockdown
Apr 07, 2020, 12:57 PM
Trento, Italy lockdown sound recorded by Emanuele Lapiana.
"Working home, new rituals take place. Around 10 am I have the first cigarette on my balcony. The whole thing lasts about 10-12 mins that I spend:
-rolling the cigarette
-greetings and formalities with neighbours I usually don't talk to
-listening to the birds
-smokingĀ
-shaking the cigarette ash in the tray
-tiptapping my phone
-checking my smartphone notification
-watching the dogs in the dog area
-enjoying the new ritual
-asking myself how long will this last
-wondering how quick and unpredictable are changes
Cheers and good luck!"
