Birds singing at dusk in Lisbon
Apr 06, 2020, 02:45 PM
Lisbon lockdown recording by David Afonso.
"With most of the citizens staying at home, the noise of traffic is much lower and the sounds of nature, mostly birds, can be heard more distinctly all day long. This sample was recorded at dusk.
This place was a former military quarter. The old building now belongs to the parish council. Behind me stand the abandoned military barracks and a makeshift parking lot.
Why am I here and not at home? That's because we are supporting an elderly family member who lives in this neighbourhood. "
