Sunset in Mantua

Apr 04, 2020, 10:39 AM

Mantua, Italy lockdown sound recorded by Alexandr Knyaziuk.

"Mantua, one of the cities of Lombardy, the region in northern Italy where the European part of pandemic started from. In these days there is clearly less traffic than other days.

"Being a peripheral part of the city you can clearly hear some birds that have actually always been there.

"One of the dogs barking is our neighbor's dog called Ottavio, better known as "the mayor of the block".

"It's about five weeks we staying in our homes, so people start to work in a workshops in their garages, crafting goods or repairing old bikes.

"Somebody is still trying to manage some their own business outside as you can hear the car entering a backyard next door with a man closing the door and walking away at the end of the clip."
