"This is from Laguna Beach in Southern California. It was made as part of a course in creative industries at Chapman University looking at the idea of creative spaces.
"The 'waves' in the rocks mirror the waves behind me; the sea's sounds are like breathing. 'Breathing' seems to have a different evocation in this time of Covid-19."
