Breezy night
Apr 02, 2020, 11:04 AM
Texan lockdown sound recorded by Melissa de la Rosa.
"My sound is portraying the silent night that the Coronavirus pandemic has brought to my community. Throughout my county, a Stay-At-Home Order was put in for every household and I believe that has affected the community in a number of ways.
"First, there's no more families leaving their homes for any reason whatsoever because everyone is trying to stay safe away from the virus.
"Secondly, the number of crime has decreased due to the lack of activity on the highways, so no more police or fire truck sirens can be heard anymore since the pandemic has started.
"This virus has brought a very different feeling towards the city, so I believe that everyone is feeling the same way about it: fearful, scared, stressed, tired.
"Even pets that are heard howling every night have stopped due to the vibe that is felt in the neighborhood alone."
