Minneapolis city sounds reimagined by Tom Miller.
"The continuous ringing of telephone bells against a background of traffic noise urges us to fulfil our filial obligations as we are reminded of the unbreakable maternal bond; yet they remain unanswered.
"Eventually another voice rises in counterpoint, asserting the right to ignore the call, but the summoning remains insistent as the bells morph into an urban technofuture in which motherly love is expressed through means of electrocommunication."
