Stress a civilisation, plant a new culture

The recording was rendered on a public bus from Suzhou city centre (China) to the ancient Tiger Hill Pagoda (Huqiu 虎丘). 

While an automated announcement in both Mandarin and the Suzhou dialect is aired from one stop to another, constant rattles from a seat compartment are heard alongside with the vehicle motion. 

However, the lasting impression of this sound event is the repetitious
slogan, "stress a civilisation, plant a new culture" (講文明 樹新風). Recorded by O. W. Chow.
