"Last year I went to Valparaiso and while it's lively in some parts, the truth is there are a lot of worn out buildings in the surroundings.
"Somehow the sound of the elevators, slow and heavy, reflects the state of the older structures, as it started to decay itself along with the city.
"This influenced my composition, which is languid, heavy and industrial, as the city slowly decomposes."
