Belfast priest Father Gary Donegan says he wants to put an end to what he calls "circus funerals".
In an interview in today's Belfast Telegraph, the influential cleric says he does not allow rap music, football tops or huge floral displays at funerals.
Fr Donegan is concerned that some of the eulogies and paraphernalia at services is actually "glamorising" suicide for young people.
