The guys start off the first hour by talking about the National Championship and the targeting call. The targeting call was a big controversy for the game because Clemson’s top defensive player, James Skalski, got ejected from the game and they are debating whether the call was targeting or not. They then transition to talking about the Carolina Panthers. They discuss where quarterback Cam Newton will play next season, since he will be a free agent and he is coming off an injury with a sprained foot. Around the end of the show they interviewed Texas A&M’s head basketball coach Buzz Williams about their win against Vanderbilt and the way they’re playing going into conference play.
