What is to be done with the BBC? A recent poll suggests that there is little public support for the BBC Licence Fee. It found that three quarters of people want the BBC licence fee abolished.
The survey of 1,000 people, taken just before Christmas, was conducted by the opinion research company ‘Public First’.
However, a BBC spokesperson has said it 'did not recognise the figures',
claiming Ipsos MORI found earlier in December that the licence fee was the most popular option.
In the modern world should people still have to pay the licence fee especially if they don't make use of the services?
Vinny got the views of commentators Andre Walker and Phil Kelly.
