Fearing residual traces of malevolence, Dave runs a manual system diagnostic on Chad, uncovering a slew of abandoned takeover plots.
It's hard to believe it's already been two months since the robotic uprising that nearly claimed the lives of everyone at Apocalypse Video. And even though Chad's evil plot was squashed by the triumphant return of Cody, nevertheless, strange things have been occurring in the weeks since (a shared nightmare of forced horror movie watching, for instance...). So it was with that in mind that I decided to run a manual system diagnostic on old Chadwick...and guess what I found? Takeover plots galore! One of which just so happened to include little toy soldiers...
I'm your host, David Snider, and joining me as we debate the probability of success of an action figure-led takeover are fellow cinephiles and Gorgonite sympathizers Ryan Caldwell and Michael Althouse.
Listen as we discuss the dumbing down of Small Soldiers, and what could have been a darkly satirical film; I advocate for the destruction of Insaniac (aka, the most annoying character in the film); and finally, we breakdown the legacy of the movie, including Ryan's favorite Small Soldier's fast food tie-in: The Rodeo Burger.
Be sure to rate, review, and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts (that's an order, solider!). You can also Follow us on Twitter or Like Us on Facebook (any other social media platform is just a toy!).
This is David Snider from Sector 2...signing off.
