"I used the 3 words as a set of direct instructions when composing this piece.
"Edits", lead me to edit the recording and cut out the parts where you can hear PA calls ("Calls" being the second of the 3 words). As for "Empty", I used it as a cue for silence.
The whole piece is constructed using material from the original recording only, from the background ambience, to the sound effects, to the beats.
No additional sounds or instruments were used.
I wanted to express the constant aggression we are subjected to in our daily life in big cities, hence the title."
