"He is a unionist through and through" - that was Nigel Dodd's assessment of Boris Johnson just two weeks ago. The Prime Minister was given a hero's welcome at a DUP drinks reception at the Tory party conference. Nigel Dodds went on to tell the Newsletter that Mr Johnson had sent out a "very strong message of solidarity in terms of the unionist position across the United Kingdom". But yesterday the love in came to an end. So where did it all go wrong? And what will this new Brexit deal mean for Northern Ireland if it gets through the Commons?
