Could a Brexit agreement be about to happen? Yesterday Boris Johnson and Leo Varadkar both said that they could "see a pathway to a possible deal". Last night, the Secretary of State Julian Smith told BBC's The View programme that it gave him great heart that the UK and the Republic were trying to find what he called "an accommodation". And he addressed one criticism levelled at Mr Johnson's proposals -- that a deal could, in effect, be blocked by the DUP. So no community will have a veto over NI's post Brexit future. That's what the Secretary of State told BBC's The View last night. But Number 10 sources say he hadn't been briefed on the the detail of Boris Johnson and Leo Varadkar's talks. So who should decide on future arrangements for Northern Ireland? And will Northern Ireland be staying in the Customs Union? Stephen spoke to BBC NI's political editor Mark Devenport, UUP MLA Doug Beattie, TUV leader Jim Allister and Alliance Party MLA Stephen Farry.
