Kabir Singh' producers had me in mind, but director wanted Shahid: Arjun

| Speaking at the 10th Jagran Film Festival in Mumbai, actor Arjun Kapoor revealed that the producers of 'Kabir Singh' had him in mind when they acquired the rights of the Hindi remake. "[But] Sandeep Vanga, the director had met Shahid and...they decided to do the film together...and I respect that," he added. Arjun further praised Shahid's performance in the film.
