Drum roll please...here is the recording for the first EVER live episode of The Big Move podcast which took place on September 5th, 2019 at the new Hoxton Hotel in Southwark, London. I was joined by the lovely Danielle Peazer and dear friend of mine to help co-host for the episode.
We thought it’d be fun to share our contrasting experiences in London - from the view point of a newbie (Em) and someone born and bred (Danielle). Our friendship has evolved with quite a few laughs as we tend to tease each other on certain American vs. British words and phrases. SO, we start out the episode with a bit of a fun ice breaker. We then get into our journeys through London, how as an ex-pat I networked and made friends, tips for how to find your new normal in a brand new place, and ultimately how I got to know the brilliant city that is London.
