John Voket and the award-winning For the People welcomes back Ability Beyond to discuss how that statewide agency is serving adults with disabilities across Connecticut - and to invite you to Ability Beyond's benefit golf and tennis tournament event Monday in Danbury. 

Then we'll hear from one of the founders of the CT DCF Dads Matter Too Community Day - Saturday, September 28 at Waterbury's Police Activity League. It's all about educating, informing, and empowering fathers and father figures while strengthening and increasing their roles in the lives of children.

And finally, we'll get the low down on this year's UConn’s Native Plants and Pollinators Conference and tell you about planned presentations featuring current science-based research and information on supporting pollinators in managed landscapes.
