Stage 15 | Tineo - Santuario Del Acebo | Vuelta a España 2019
Season 7, Episode 146, Sep 08, 2019, 07:25 PM
Sepp Kuss, a young American on the Jumbo-Visma team, won the 15th stage of the Vuelta a España at the summit of Santuario Del Acebo while his teammate Primoz Roglic tightened his grip on the red jersey of race leader.
Richard Moore and Daniel Friebe discuss the stage, and we also hear from Orla Chennaoui and Adam Blythe, who are in Spain covering the race for Eurosport. There are interviews with Kuss’s teammate and countryman Neilson Powless and with Willie Smit, the South African who started the stage – and finished it – despite a deep gash in his knee having been at the bottom of the big crash at the end of Saturday’s stage. There are also the latest instalments of audio diaries from James Knox and Nick Schultz.
