Noah Syndergaard
Season 1, Episode 8, Aug 29, 2019, 12:24 PM
Welcome to Amazin’ Avenue in Conversation, a new podcast from Amazin’ Avenue where we invite interesting people on the show to talk about themselves, the Mets, and more.
Noah Syndergaard needs no introduction. One of the most electrifying athletes in sports today, Snydergaard is part of the Mets' young rotation that looks to be a dominant force in baseball for years to come. He's also one of the most legitimately funny athletes on social media, something that can be gleaned from following him on Twitter (@noahsyndergaard) and Instagram (@nsydnergaard).
Noah has partnered with Great Clips for their Back to School promotion, which helps underfunded schools throughout the country. On Thursday, September 5, Great Clips and Noah will visit PS 111 Adolph S Ochs in Hell’s Kitchen to hand out school supplies and to deliver a donation of $40,000. The money will go towards a monthly hot meal program for students and families that live in temporary housing as well as to fund extracurricular initiatives such as an after-school drama club and an African-inspired music and dance program.
To help out, download the Great Clips app and make a difference in the lives of kids across the country.
