Ritual and ecstasy

Sheffield Wednesday vs. Wolves reimagined by Nick Harpley.
"I found my response to the sound was not to try and prettify it and make it "musical" but to find a way to celebrate the passion and energy of the original source more directly, so it's more like a focusing in than a transformation out.
"So I decided to use only the original material, and to draw out the ritual and ecstatic qualities, and the feeling of waves of energy, through quite simple (I had thought) repetition and modulation in the time domain (pitch is scarcely touched) of extracted elements. I decided to use the length and format of the original, and the melodic and motivic elements could only appear once they've occurred in the original timeline."
