Blind Ice Skating Prodigy In The Making

When 7-year-old Izzy put her skates on for the first time earlier this year, her parents couldn’t have foreseen what a confidence-booster the activity would become. 

 

We spoke with Izzy’s mom, Ruth George about the unexpected hobby, finding out Izzy was blind and the importance of letting your child gain their own independence.
