David Hewson is a former journalist, and the author of more than twenty five novels including his Rome based Nic Costa series. He has also written three acclaimed adaptations of the Danish TV series The Killing. 'The Savage Shore' is his latest novel featuring Detective Nic Costa, and looks at one of the richest and most powerful organised crime groups in the world.
Phillipa Ashley's first novel 'Decent Exposure' won the RNA New Writers Award, and was made into a TV movie. A big part of her heart belongs to Cornwall, and she visits several times a year for 'research purposes'. Her latest novel 'A Perfect Cornish Summer' is about Sam Lovell and the organising of the upcoming summer festival
Ahmad Danny Ramadan is a Syrian-Canadian author, and LGBTQ-refugee activist. His debut novel 'The Clothesline Swing' won Canada's 2018 Independent Publisher Gold Medal for LGBT Fiction. It's an epic love story set in Syria, the Lebanon, Egypt, and Canada.
Brenda Shaw was born in London, and faced the challenge of combining motherhood and a career, coupled with relocating her family to Scotland, America, and Australia. After her sons grew up, she moved to Jerusalem. Her debut coming-of-age novel 'Running Home' explores themes of identity, and discrimination.
