Racing Postcast: Irish Derby 2019 | Northumberland Plate | ITV Racing Preview | Weekend Tips

Maddy Playle is joined by Graeme Rodway, David Jennings, and Paddy Power's James Ryan for a look ahead to racing on ITV this weekend including action at Newcastle, Newmarket, York and the Curragh for the Irish Derby.

- The ITV cameras are at Newcastle, Newmarket and York this Saturday and all eyes will be on the Northumberland Plate at Newcastle where a few have been heavily backed including Gibbs Hill, who hasn't been seen for almost two years! The team find plenty to oppose his chances.

- The action at Newmarket on the July course has got the team excited especially David Jennings who makes a huge claim for the card as he's backing the James Doyle seven-timer! Has DJ gone crazy or can his optimism pay? 

- The Irish Derby at the Curragh looks an amazing renewal on Saturday with Derby winner Anthony Van Dyck heading the market after his Derby success at Epsom. Four of his rivals in the Derby return to take him on but the team can't get away from Aidan O'Brien's first string.

- The team also give their tips for the rest of Saturday's action and have some strong fancies for Sunday too.
