Spacecraft testing reimagined by Scott Wilson.
"Inspired by J. G Ballard, and the fact that the original sound arrived with a clear beginning, middle and end, I sought to highlight the irony of machines testing machines in order to realise a human desire to escape the planet. To that end, I used a series of simple freeware tools to manipulate the sound (machines testing machines) to arrive at a result that might reflect my desires, but which now exists apart from them and, like the objects we send into space, will outlast me."
