The Future of Injectables with Merz Executives Jeff Castillo and Christina Meyer
Episode 140, Jun 12, 2019, 01:47 AM
Happy Tuesday, Beauty Byters!
On this week’s episode of Beauty Byters with Dr. Kay: Secrets of a Plastic Surgeon, I introduce you to two very special guests! Last week I had the pleasure of podcasting with Jeff Castillo, Merz’s VP of Injectables and Head of US Injectables Marketing, Christina Meyer! I’ve known Jeff and Christina for quite some time now and I was thrilled to invite them on the podcast. We recorded this episode from the Hudson Lofts in Downtown Los Angeles, following the launch event for Merz’s Later Haters Campaign! I was honored to have been invited as a panelist by Merz and love everything that this campaign represents. Christina is the creator of the Later Haters campaign — a campaign designed to empower successful women to be vocal about the things they do to stay beautiful. Each and every day we as a society break further from the stigma that was once permanently attached to wrinkle-reducing injectables like Xeomin! This podcast covers social media, stigmas, and what the future has in store for toxins like Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau, and Xeomin. I chat with Jeff about his daily routine and he tells us the one thing that injectors can’t help but ask him! Christina takes a moment to share with us exactly where the Later Haters campaign came from and the important conversation that we can have because of it. I ask Jeff whether or not college is important in today’s day and age and Christina talks to us about how things changed when she became a mom. This episode will resonate to boss girls and guys alike, as well as anyone interested in aesthetics! I hope you enjoy. 💓
