Put in a ramp!
Season 1, Episode 9, May 29, 2019, 02:18 AM
Welcome back to A Pod of Their Own, a show by the women of Amazin’ Avenue where we talk all things Mets, social justice issues in baseball, and normalize female voices in the sports podcasting space.
This week, we begin by discussing this past week of Mets games, which went much better than the week before and featured a lot of clutch performances from the Mets’ depth pieces. We also talk about injury updates, the Mets’ lack of pitching depth, and the recent bullpen implosion against the Dodgers.
Next, we have a conversation about stadium accessibility, which was inspired by the Mets’ new backpack policy. This discussion was made possible by all of the wonderful folks who reached out to Maggie about their experiences at Citi Field and other ballparks—thank you!
Finally, we wrap things up with Walk-off Wins, where each of us talks about what’s making us happy this week, baseball-related or otherwise.
You can listen or subscribe to all of our wonderful Amazin’ Avenue Audio podcasts through Apple Podcasts, where we encourage you to leave a review if you enjoy the show. It really helps! And you can find us on the Stitcher app, Spotify, or wherever you get podcasts.
