Education bosses in Kent say they haven't given up on the idea of providing more free transport to grammar schools for disadvantaged children.
A committee's recommended they extend their support - which is already offered to pupils who get free school meals.
A consultation on the plans was scrapped last year - but we're told bosses are looking at two options that could lead to more help being offered with transport.
Roger Gough is in charge of education at the county council.
