In episode five of The Millennial Wayve I sit down with My Mom, Carrie Wagner. California native and mother of four kids, she has built a solid career as an accountant and dedicates her free time to loved ones and outside hobbies such as traveling when her time permits. But it wasn't always like that... As a young adult she left the house at only 17 years old on a quest for independence. She found herself pregnant at 21 years old with her first child and stuck in an abusive relationship. Although things weren't always easy, she used health and fitness as an outlet while she jumped from job to job trying to make ends meet. Finally, after 10 years of attending community college she made the decision to become an accountant. In her later years she developed an addiction to gambling which put her deep in debt and began to negatively impact her relationships. In this special episode we'll be talking about her journey of single parenting, moving past her addiction, self evaluation and advice that she'd give her younger self.
