Font of Sadness

Season 1, Episode 6,   May 16, 2019, 04:29 AM

Welcome to Amazin’ Avenue Audio (The Show), the new/old favorite from Amazin’ Avenue editors Chris McShane and Brian Salvatore.

This week, Brian and Chris discuss the woes at the back end of the Mets’ rotation, specifically how after Jacob deGrom, Noah Syndergaard, and Zack Wheeler, there isn’t much happening right now.

We then discuss the first season of Brodie Van Wagenen’s tenure as General Manager, as well as how Mickey Callaway’s sophomore season is shaping up.

We end up with some quick hits on Jed Lowrie, the bullpen, and the backup catching situation.

Brian’s music pick:

Manos: The Hands of Fate Soundtrack, composed by Robert Smith Jr. and Russ Huddleston.

Chris’s music picks:

Big Thief - U.F.O.F.Mac DeMarco - Here Comes the Cowboy
