LISTEN: Alison Patterson is trying to raise money to cover legal fees after her daughter was murdered in Qatar - 10/05/2019

A fundraising evening's being held later in memory of a teacher from #WestMalling who was murdered after going missing on a night out in Qatar.

24 year-old Lauren Patterson had been working in the city before her body was found badly burned in the middle of the desert in October 2013.

Her mum Alison had to travel out there more than 30 times as she campaigned to bring her daughter's killers to justice.

The event's taking place at The Swan in West Malling tonight.
