s04e18 - Henry Zebrowski, Dave Willis, & Boomer Talk with Torchy Smith
We wrap up 'Adult Swim April' (in May) with actor / comedian / podcaster, Henry Zebrowski (Gary on YPF) and actor / director / writer & YPF co-creator, Dave Willis. PLUS: Stick around as Tim speaks to podcast host, Torchy Smith, who talks about his new book, "Shooting the Breeze with Baby Boomer Stars". You don't have to be a Boomer to know about Boomer shows! Us GenX folks grew up watching the same shows our parents did, every single day on TBS (for example).

DON'T MISS THE WILDER RIDE!
The Wilder Ride is a podcast that explores and celebrates the films of Gene Wilder, using the movies by minutes format. Over the years we've all watched Gene Wilder play everything from a scientist, to a gunslinger, to a man infatuated by a woman in red, to Mr. Willy Wonka himself. But always, at the heart, there is a depth and a warmth of a real human being bringing those roles to life in such a way as to leave an indelible impression in our hearts and minds.
Tim & Jeff appeared on few episodes of Season One, "Young Frankenstein", and appear, as does Autumn, in Season Two, as The Wilder Ride takes on Mel Brooks' classic, possibly problematic, "Blazing Saddles".
CHUCK & BRAD PODCAST!
https://chuckstaton.wixsite.com/cbpod/avengers
The brash, occasionally obscene Chuck Staton and the extremely softspoken Brad Rohrer have released 400 episodes, with over 150 interviews/guest appearances over the past ten years on The Chuck and Brad Podcast.
SHOOTING THE BREEZE with BABY BOOMER STARS! presents 50 first-hand accounts of baby boomer celebrities from beloved TV shows and films such as Jerry Mathers (Leave it to Beaver), Bill Mumy (Lost in Space), Cubby O’Brien (Mickey Mouse Club) Stephen Furst (Animal House), Butch Patrick (The Munsters), Cindy Williams (Laverne & Shirley) and Clint Howard (The Andy Griffith Show, Gentle Ben) The interviewees discuss their memories working on projects, behind the scenes secrets, and the lasting cultural impact of the baby boomer generation.
Torchy Smith has interviewed well over 100 celebrities on his iHeartRadio talk show “Baby Boomers Talk Radio.” May 4th, 1970 was Smith’s last day at Kent State, where he witnessed the shootings by the Ohio National Guard. He was a graphic design student and had worked doing advertising layouts for several employers. After gravitating to sales and building a successful career selling to large retailers, Smith began investing in real estate in the 80s.
At the same time, he also started a ribbon business, which he sold in 2006 and went into semi-retirement. Smith always had an interest in seeking a way to combine his nostalgia obsession with communications through the internet. As a self-starter, he learned and kept up with the computer age that was surging in the 90's. Smith was then able to combine those skills with his graphic design background. What resulted was his accomplishments in creating videos and communications with celebrities from the past. Smith has been on numerous radio programs, commenting on the pulse of where baby boomers now fit into today's world. To learn more, please visit www.babyboomerstalkradio.com.
