It's the end of an era that puts thousands of well-paid manufacturing jobs at risk. Bombardier's decision to put its Northern Ireland factories up for sale is a huge blow to the workforce and the wider economy here. The Canadian-owned company employs about 3,600 people making aircraft parts at a number of sites around Belfast. But when suppliers are included, it's estimated to impact on up to 12,000 jobs. Bombardier is the biggest recipient of state aid in Northern Ireland. Between 2013 and 2018, the company was offered financial assistance totalling £13.19 million. Stephen was joined by BBC's Business and Economics Editor John Campbell, and got reaction from union leader Davy Thompson from Unite, Bombardier employee George Burnside, Alliance MLA Naomi Long, UUP MLA Steve Aiken and SDLP Cllr Brian Heading.
