Is it time Belfast introduced a vehicle levy to help tackle pollution?

A Ultra Low Emission Zone has come into force in central London. Meaning drivers of older, more polluting vehicles, could have to pay £12.50 per day to enter a certain zone. Anyone who does not pay the charge will face a fine of £160. Recently we have heard about the levels of pollution in Belfast so would this be something that you would welcome here?
