The maximum stake that can be played on fixed-odds betting terminals in the UK has been slashed.

From today, it's been cut from £100 to £2 - with the aim of helping to prevent gamblers who use the machines from getting into serious debt.

MP for Chatham and Aylesford Tracey Crouch resigned as Sports Minister in November over planned delays to the cuts.
