Scissors Spring geyser, Yellowstone
Recorded by National Park Service.
A stereo recording of the easternmost pool of the Scissors Springs feature that boils regularly. This feature was named Scissors Springs because the outflow channels of the two pools (which now run parallel to each other) used to cross, making the two pools look like the finger holes of a pair of scissors and their channels the scissors blades.
