The first hour of the Blitz kicks off with the guys talking about their weekends, and what gets them in trouble with their wives while drinking. The guys discuss the NFL Free Agency: Nick Foles to the Jags signing, the Texans potential free agent targets and their position needs, Trent Brown’s EGNORMOUS contract to the Raiders. The guys then discuss UH basketball and how they shut down Cincinnati in Sunday’s win, why UT basketball is actually being considered for the NCAA Tournament despite their win-loss record and UT’s next possible Head Coach if the Shaka Smart rumors turn out to be true. The guys debate if how the Steelers handled the AB situation correctly.
