Personal Geyser

Old Faithful reimagined by Simon Woods.

"This piece underwent many changes before settling on a Native American feel to the first section. ‘Old Faithful’, I discovered, was a place of worship for several tribes and so I attempted to recreate a Native American drumming sound. 

The second section using a recording of ‘my own personal geyser’ i.e. my kettle. It is heavily processed through my new, favourite, synth - Cherry Audio’s Voltage Modular. The drumming changes to a western modern beat."
